Attila Vidnyánszky

During his career to date he directed 70 shows in different 20 theatre, including Russian National Theatre in Kijev, (Leszja Ukrainka Theatre), National Theatre in Budapest, Hungarian Thetre of Pest, new Theatre, Hungarian State Opera House, Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen as well as in Slovakia, Serbia and Croatia.


He was born in 1964 in Beregovo (Ukraine)
He graduated in 1985 in Uzhgorod State University, later he taught History and Literacy in Nagymuzsalyi School.
He graduated in Kyiv National Karpenko-Karij Theatre and Film University directorial expertise where he worked as Acting teacher between 1990 and 1997.

In 1992 he became the founding director Berehovo Illyes Gyula Hungarian National Theatre, of which he is the artistic Director and principal director too since 1993.

He was the director of Hungarian State Opera House in 2004 for a year.

In 2005, Hungary became a member of the Academy of Arts.

From 2006 he is the artistic Director of Csokonai Thetre, from April of 2007 the trustee Director, from May of 2009 the director.

Between 2008 and 2010 he was the art Director of Mezzo in Szeged and of Armel Opera Competition and Festival.

From 2009 he is the President of Magyar Teátriumi Társaság.

From 2012 he is the head of University of Kaposvár Theatre.
